Stages of Lung Cancer are Occult Stage and Stage 0 to 4. Small Cell Lung Cancer are divided into limited and extensive stage.

The stages associated with lung cancer are occult stage, stage 0 to 4. The Small cell lung cancer mainly involves two stages:

Limited Stage: In this stage of small cell lung cancer, the cancer is confined only to one lung and does not spread to the other lung or even to the near lymph nodes.

Extensive Stage: Here, the small cell lung cancer spreads to both the lungs and can even spread to the pleura (fluid around lungs) and other organs like brain.
